Architecture beaut

New building opened up in London on Queen Victoria Street just a jot down from Tate Gallery and St. Paul’s Cathedral. The buidling was opened Yesterday to 3000 visitors with guests such Mr. David Miscavige, Chairman of the Board Religious Technology Center and Dr. Iftikhar Ahmed Ayaz, United Nations Peace Envoy.

The building is gorgeous Vicotorian piece with an interior to die for. When I have some more visiaul, I'll have them up her for here.

Thought I'd go for some international culture today. This is actually from a catalogue of Chinese peasant work, thought this one had some personality to it. While it in essence is just a bunch of ducks, I like the lily pads being comparable in size to them if not twice as big.

Looks like a photo doesn't it?

That's an incredible drawing, done off of a photo of course. And, you guessed it, in pencil. The scene depicted is the Chicago river, I've never been but it's a heck of a view.

Would make for good cinema, I'll let you know what I find.

In the Garden of an Evil Man

Dramatic title, it's spoooky.

Regardless of the drama, listened to an album by the name of Gallery of Mirrors by a band called Estradasphere. They were suggested to me by a friend some years ago, these guys fall under what I would call..eclectic.

From jazz to gypsy, gypsy to death metal, latin to funk disco operatic electronica kids tunes. The last ones a killer. Their musical scope aside it is a very good album, a bit more straight forward-ish then their previous albums, but definitely still them. Can't tell if they're going in a "direction" per say, with 3 new band members and without The Whooleylicious they are still incredible.

Check them out, they're good music.

In the Eyes of Frail Betrayal

Confrontation, no.. don't..
They meet, eyes piercing, why?
Am the cause of oh such trouble...
Shoving, one life against the next, both want all or none for all
Must I stay?
Swinging... Can not watch.
Falling, one stands the brutalized victor.
A winner is a winner. I'll leave with them.

Some people sweep it under the carpet, others...

Isn't the usual art, but it may well communicate to someone. Maybe a byciclist who feels sometimes he is the bycicle, but it all trapped inside somehow.

I do like the glass cases in general, I don't know if it's treated glass or if it's a it's running water, but if given the option I would go for the running water, but I might utilize it in another wise.

I would, in the case of the "water fall," likely to just be running down the glass pane I would put the fish tank. Realize shortly (more than likely) the fish didn't like it and switch it whatever I would have had there on a display case, books most likely. Might be absolutely lacking functionality, but I could film awkward independent films in the space, could pan out for hide and go seek though.

+10 for the snarf.

Hashmark realism

Nice painting eh? Take up the picture in parts. I like it to start, nice painting of the Chrysler building and a realism of the street, cars and surrounding area. I like the perspective use, it's not quite straight and the curvature in the diminishing lines gives it a life like feeling as if you're moving. Otherwise you gotta love the hashmark texturing.
